Sometimes I sit back and look at my life and wonder why.... There has been adversity and tragedy and turmoil and much much much disfunction. I know the massive chip on my shoulder can rear its ugly head more times than I want to admit. Through it all somehow I have ended up with this amazing family and life and experiences that I know precious few have. As Zachery Swayze heads back to Germany today and Jordan Swayze is starting her junior year and Gerald Swayze is preparing to deploy to Afghanistan...I have to say I am proud to be mom and wife to this crew. Sometimes...most of the time...I think my kids have turned out well in spite of me. Zachery has grown into a fine young man and I am soo proud of how he has stepped up and faced responsibilities being a soldier, husband and father. I always knew you would be an amazing dad! But you are also a wonderful husband and young man. Jordan is simply amazing. I only wish she could see how amazing she really is. There is really nothing she will not be able to do when she finally truely sees the greatness that is within. She is beautiful and smart and will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. She has too many attributes...more than I could possibly mention. Proud does not even come close...she will far exceed everyones expections. I honestly do not know what Gerald sees in me. Any woman would be lucky to have such a husband. A big teddy bear with a big heart that he likes to keep buried. Gerald is a true partner in life and my best friend. The 1st one I want share anything with. And the last person that I want to see at night. I truly can not sleep when you are not next to me. Everyone knows your accomplishments and everyone I know is extremely proud and in awe of you. Take care and come back safely to us! We are definitely not everyones cup of tea to be sure, but I truly do not know why I am lucky enough to be blessed with this crazy beautiful hilarious inappropriate amazing family!
