Sometimes I wonder how I made it through my early Church years. I was raised in a strict Pentecostal environment where everything was approached with a strong dose of the WORD! That’s how we were taught to approach life … Just give’m the word and let the chips fall where they may … The more brutal … the better … But then you read things like this: “Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.” Philippians 4:5 Important WORDS that were never approached when growing up. But gentleness is the lubrication of our Christian walk. Much like the oil change in our engines, gentleness in our words and deeds, is one of the most important things we can live for the long-term care for smooth running relationships.
