Sometimes a meal must be sacrificed to do burger appreciation - TopicsExpress

Sometimes a meal must be sacrificed to do burger appreciation justice. Today, lunch was sacrificed in favour for an early burger and chips dinner. Knowing that I will be getting a hefty burger and chips takeaway tonight meant that my brain was only functioning a fraction of usual. I didnt get to do much task at all! I was pre-occupied. Last burger I had was about 2 months ago. I was surprised I was even able to put on pants to head out, but thank god it was really cold. I got the Queen burger (hold the egg) add the haloumi, peas and potato pattie + chilli sauce. This served with a side of thick cut chips with chicken salt...last supper top 10 for me. The Queen has 1 big juicy patty, bacon that has real bacony goodness and not salty, cheese, lettuce & mustard. I must say, adding the haloumi, peas and potato patty was genius. It added the extra crispiness in the texture to balance the medium cooked beautifully crafted patty. This is easily a 4/5 pickles. Lost a pickle point for not having a pickle. Oh and the chips! How are they crispy on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside, and no greasy feel to it at all?!?!?! Thats 3 interrobangs right there coz I find it hard to explain. 4.5/5 Not gonna bang on much more, just head to Deans Dinner on King St in Newtown. Im typing this and putting grease on my iPhone coz...Im still eating these yummy chips!
