Sometimes angels show up just when you need them, most. Late last night I experienced car trouble on a dark suburban road in central NJ. The car stopped running (twice) on a dark main road. While I sat figuring my next move, there was a knock on my window and a stranger asked if I need help. He then said, lets back the car into my driveway to get it off the road; assisting with a flashlight and a colored wand to avert oncoming traffic. As I prepared to call roadside assistance he then provided me with a portable power supply for my phone that was down 50%. I responded jokingly, who are you, Batman? Long story short, he offered food and drink, which I politely refused and he hung in there, roadside until I was able to get a tow to the car dealership. Oh....and the kicker??? His name is Gabriel. He will be hearing from me again, soon. I am so grateful for the kindness of strangers.
