It is heartbreaking for a pet parent to find their beloved pet lying in their basket come morning, when everything was fine the night before. Nothing heals the pain that as a veterinarian I feel when I have to ease a friends beloved horse onto greener pastures because no amount of money on earth could fix the degenerative problem he suffered from. All I can do is ease his pain and give him death with dignity and no fear. My heart aches with all of you who have lost loved ones this past couple of weeks. Puppy kisses and kitten purrs help to soften the burden, as well as all my clients kind thoughts and prayers.
