Sometimes car names are funny when introduced into different cultures and languages. The Toyota MR2 would sound funny to French-speaking people. "Em Air Duh": "et Merde!" (oh shit). Mitsubishi Pajero is called Montero in countries where people speak Spanish, Pajero meaning "wanker" in Spanish... The Ford Pinto was a flop in Brazil because "pinto" is Brazilian slang for penis. In Japan, automakers have marketed the Nissan Moco. Unfortunately, this would never export well to Spanish-speaking countries where "moco" means booger. Do you have other ones in mind?
