Sometimes even with an antivirus program running you can still be targeted by adware, malware, and other nasty little internet parasites. Here are some signs that one of these may have targeted you: -Your browser assigns itself a strange homepage (the page that loads when you first open Internete Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome) -While browsing you are frequently redirected to strange unrelated pages -A strange search provider has set itself as default web search host -One or more messages appear warning you of security threats, viruses, or other problems on your computer and claim to be able to solve them for you. -Strange icons appear on your desktop and/or notifications tray (PC Optimizer Pro, DriverUpdate, SearchProtect, etc...) -Multiple program windows appear while your computer is first starting, possibly slowing down the startup process. -Your network connection status unexpectedly changes to Local access only or No internet access but your ISP confirms network access on your connection. If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms or similar problems you would like to ask about, give Intrigue a call at (509)826-7066, or just come down to our office on Main Street. Were located across from Work Source, next to State Farm Insurance. Our office hours are 9:00am-4:00pm Mon-Fri.
