Obama and Erdoghan remain the sole international backers of the Muslim Brotherhood in this shifting geopolitical landscape. Unsurprisingly, both of these discredited politicians have gone to great lengths to purge their armed forces of any opposition to brotherhood indoctrination and tactics. These purges amount to hundreds of Generals in the American and Turkish armies,respectively. While the Saudis have bankrolled the military coup in Egypt which drove the Obama-Mursi clique out, Erdoghan is still clinging to power in Turkey, although his regime has come under mounting pressure from various fronts.
