Sometimes if you want to see a change for the better, you have to take things into your own hands. - Clint Eastwood I have been on the verge of my own Donald Glover like Instagram breakdown for a few weeks. I have a lot on my mind. A lot I want to say but I wont. I had to step back and take a look at things from a different perspective last night. I dont want to just go through the motions anymore. Change is in the air. Im going to truly do exactly what I want to do. Not what Im comfortable with or known for or even expected to do. Im going to do what Im excited about. Yes Ive made 2 feature films. Yes Ive tried to make a lot of films that for one reason or another didnt happen. Yes I take a lot of heat for it. But Ive also made 2 feature films. Something Jacob Lee is quick to remind me of when I beat myself down over my failures or shortcomings. Youre going to see the real me over the next 6-7 months. The me that got into filmmaking because of Cronenberg, Guillermo Del Toro, Paul Thomas Anderson & more. The me Ive been ignoring & putting on the sideline to tell dick jokes (which ARE super fun..) Times are a-changing & its time to show the world what Im truly capable of.
