Sometimes in order to pursue something new, we must leave behind something or someone that creates a sense of familiarity and comfort. I found myself recently negotiating with my future for the comfort of my past. I dont think I am the only person that has ever done this and it would be like driving a car expecting it to move forward successfully while keeping your eyes on the rear view mirror. Trust me, that doesnt work; and when we travel the road ahead, we never truly know what will be in our path. Yet we all do this successfully day-after-day and never even acknowledge our ability to live in uncertainty. Uncertainty is ALWAYS a part of the future. In every decision, there is an element of uncertainty. You are better at uncertainty than you give yourself credit for! As my husband, Ron, always says you can never make a wrong decision. Which reminds me of Jim Rohns words, Indecision is the thief of opportunity. Make a BIG BOLD DECISION about something today that could dramatically impact your future and watch opportunities arise.
