Sometimes it is the simple things... We take a lot for granted because we are privileged enough to be able to do that. Ive traveled enough to know I shouldnt take sanitation for granted (even though I often do). Per a NYT blog from 2012, ...some 80 percent of India’s urban residents now have access to a toilet. The bad news is that only a third of India’s urban households with a toilet have a connection to a sewage pipe network, and not all of those networks go to a sewage treatment plant. Today I saw this piece from National Public Radios website. The photos are worth a look. They should give you something for your Im grateful for... list in anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday.
