Sometimes it is tough working from home. Money can be sporadic, and the amount of effort required to even cover costs most weeks is astronomical. But more than anything, I value being able to hang out with the kids on school holidays, blow bubbles, play dinosaurs and dress-ups with the little-un, and wouldnt trade even for the best paying, most glamorous job in the world. Im especially lucky to have a partner who is 100% behind me in doing this; having someone who doesnt pressure me to get a day job, and sees it as important that I invest time into the kids, really makes a huge difference to their lives as well.
