Sometimes life isnt all sunshine and rainbows. Last night we had to bring Lily to Peoria. She was shaking and had a fever by the time we arrived at Childrens Hospital. Her blood cultures have come back positive. Lilys central line has become infected. As of now Lily is resting comfortably and painting with Daddy Michael. She is receiving an antibiotic for the bacteria. The Doctors are meeting to decide if its time to remove her central line altogether. Now the good news. Lily has completed treatment for CANCER! This means one thing. Scans will begin to be scheduled at a later time to look to see if Lily is cancer free. I know you are all pulling for us, but please take the time to share this and say a little prayer. I know Gods got this. To the love of my life we made a great team.
