Sometimes, like Jacob, we cry everything is against me, when actually everything is working for you. In His person and His providence, God is for you: The Son is for you (Rom. 8:34) so is the Spirit (Rom. 8:26) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Rom. 8:28) The conclusion is obvious: If God be for you, who can be against you?
