Sometimes our own thoughts deserve a space empty of others voices - TopicsExpress

Sometimes our own thoughts deserve a space empty of others voices and appearances. To be married isnt to be shackled or possessed, but to partner on one of lifes trails. To be wedded blissfully isnt for one to control while the other submits, but to respect individuality while forging commonalities. God created the uniqueness that makes each of us. Yet, marriage has a strange way of tangling peoples existence, defining it as nothing more than an unit; thus, denying individuality. And then there is the factor which many conceive is the reasoning for marriage, love. How do I love thee let me count the ways. I love my husband, but his life is my existence and so my individuality has been stowed into a closet, and his weaknesses has grown to be mine, depleting my energy, increasing anxieties and strangling life. I feel empty of hope and tired of waiting for resolve. It takes two to form a marriage and love to be its anchor. Yet, it cannot be a blissful union if each individuality is displaced, shackled with illusions and unfulfilled dreams. Dows stroke has taken its toll. The patience required seems distant. Yet I love him, but not his affliction. Through sickness and health says the gospel. There are times words spoken or written are not enough.
