Sometimes things dont end the way we thought or planned they would. These abrupt and unsettling twists and unexpected finishes can set people into a tailspin from which they never recover. These unforeseen endings can have quite an impact. Such is the plight of those of you who are fans of How I Met Your Mother. A TV sitcom about a guy recounting his dating years as a 16 year old doctor. The bizarre end to the series has upset many viewers. People who invested years of their lives in this program. If you, along with those who decried the anti-climatic series finale of The Sopranos and the dream season of Dallas, consider time in front of your TV an investment that could explain why were fat and broke as a nation. You want to really invest time- go serve at a homeless shelter, be a big brother or sister, get involved in your community or just go for a walk outside!
