Sometimes things just dont go the way we think they should. Last night at the band competition, the auxiliaries, drum major, and drum line received 1s while the band received 2s. WE believed they did great job. I was shocked when I heard the 2s being called out. Even though we dont understand that, we need to remember that NOTHING catches the LORD by surprise. We need to thank the LORD for the opportunity and ask that HIS will be glorified. How we handle disappointments can be a greater witness to those watching than when things always go our way. We love love our children win or lose. We need to teach them through sports, academics, etc. what truly matters in life.
