Sometimes truth is shocking because our perceptions of the truth is sometimes skewed. But it is still a matter of personal perspective as to if out country Is or Is Not still a great Nation. What makes this country great is not her achievements, or her past achievements, it is her people. When her people fail us, then we fail ourselves, and the rest of the world. Everyone needs to look at this with a critical view. The country has been is worst times than this, and we have come a very long way in our very short history in the world. I think we can take courage in that we appear to be in a pause, waiting for the great political machine that is our Democracy, to begin to churn the engines of this great vessel on a new course.
