Sometimes we take for granted…that he was INTRICATEly planted…just to protect us from the storms of life. Sent to handle the [toils and strife] of the ones who crosses his path and they laugh; Not realizing HIS [struggles]… as he silently…[snuggles] next to his pillow at night….pinning away at how he can SOOTHE the souls of those around him and still [valiantly] WIN this fight; and all the while…forgetting the fact he has needs too, despite all his MIGHT. DESIRES, FIRES…and WIRES to [untangle], sometimes causing him to get [mangled] and wrapped up from heavy chains of responsibility…around his neck…NO time to REFLECT, through their selfishness…he gains [neglect]. His blood, sweat and tears…he has CONSTANTly carried this weight around for years. Bearing up the burdens of many whose souls [cry out]….”save me”….why can’t any of them SEE…that I am JUST a man…I am [only] me…though engrossed in gifts and strength….[who will save thee]? Silence….no time to COMPLAIN…voices and choices…remaining the SAME…people trying to get into my head…[ain’t] got time for GAMES….Lift, lift higher….pulling TIRE-LESSly…many watch and ADMIRE; striving….day to day….just trying to work HARD as I HUMBly pray….[heart fills with pain]….release…is delayed….STILL, I have no time…to be dismayed……too many people… going astray….got to tell them the TRUTH….get them back on their WAY….and in the [infinite] di-stance….in a moment and an in-stance….a light crackles….as I feel resi-stance….YET…. I can’t STOP….keeping on ….not going to MISS this…God has a plan….and that’s more than a wish LIST…I will rest, when my job is done….my HARVEST reward… is sweeter than the most INTIMATE kiss….then… I hear a voice say…”Son,…well done…YOU can [break the chains]…relax…you have WON…an opportunity to sit back AND enjoy the FUN….You are one of the few who LABORED….blessings waiting [on]… you…don’t walk…the weight of the world is NO longer yours to bear…RUN…don’t talk! And as the Eagle who spreads his WINGS for flight….he [lifts] and then [climbs]…to a HIGHER level of birth-right…and that’s NOT A CRIME!”
