Sometimes when #GreysAnatomy takes big swings, you get something great. But last night certainly wasnt one of those times. Im sitting on the proverbial Seattle Graces operating table and the doctors are asking me if I want to them to remove this breathing apparatus or go on watching these episodes. And Im violently shaking my head yes. Please. Make it stop. Make. It. Stop. This is no way to live. So we all know that Sandra Oh is leaving the show. Somehow I thought that they would use last night to explore how her life would have been had she gone with Burke. They would have shown how bad it was to try to get us to buy into the Owen - Christina thing when all we can remember is Burke. But last night was one of the silliest, dumbest, laziest, confusing episodes Ive ever seen them produce So help me understand: they explore two alternate realities where Christina gives into the urge to get married, have kids, etc and shes unhappy. OR we explore the other reality where they just shack and dont get married. Wow, Greys Anatomy - you really dont know nothing about time travel. So of neither of those options works, what is the other option? Just not to be with Owen? Its dumb. This is a HUGE waste of Sandra Ohs last few minutes on screen. They appear to be trying to give us closure. But in showing us these futures of everyone where Kepner runs the trauma ward and the goofy guy is some kind of great surgeon, theyre almost spoiling the future lives of all these characters!!! Why bother watchful now? We know where they end up most likely. This is reason number 879 why they need to just put a bullet in this thing. They are running put of compelling story lines. This alternate universe stuff is bottom of the barrel, Im all out of ideas kinda stuff. And next week ANOTHER virus breaks out in the hospital?? Is it bad to hope that it just wipes everyone out? Is it bad that I wish I could travel back in time and tell myself not to watch past the George and Izzy years? I lie on the operating table and I shake my head yes. Yes - please remove the breathing tube. Yes, stop destroying the memory of a once great show with stupid plot lines. Please. Just go focus on your other dumb over sensationalized show. Just leave this place. Youve done enough to destroy a once great drama.
