Sometimes when I try to make a point to a friend of mine I use so many metaphors I end up sounding like Captain Dathon in Darmok. You need to find your lost ball and put it back next to the other one where it belongs, and stop trying to quantify a generation of pudding that hasnt gelled up yet. Millennials are all a bunch of eggs and sugar that are blogging about how awesome they are because theyre in the bowl and other eggs and sugar and xanthan gum on the shelf are all waiting for their bowl to come and its NOT PUDDING YET. The fat guy at the counter who ordered pudding for dessert doesnt care what the eggs and sugar think and the sooner Millennials figure that out, the better off theyll be.
