Sometimes when my kids were small I would say......close your eyes and hold out your hand. They didnt question, they knew they were going to get a surprise, a gift, something I wanted them to have. So it is with our heavenly Father....we need to trust Him, for we know that the Word says {Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.....James 1:17} From the greatest of gifts, salvation in Christ to the material blessings ( hot water, a cup of coffee, a pair of legs that work, a job and the energy to do it and so on). We should receive them all gladly and with thanks. He knows so much more about us than we do. So close your eyes, say a prayer and hold out your hand......He is waiting to bless you!
