Sometimes you just have to step away from the norm. I found out years that this is actually a tribute to Music itself. Amazing writting but it wasnt Barry Manilow that wrote it. One of his friends of the Beach Boys wrote it. This was the first song in my life that I remember. I was 5 years old, NONE of my 3 brothers and 1 sister was born yet, my mom was pregnant, my Asshole step dad was driving, it was a rainy or snowy evening, I was in the back seat, my mom in the passenger seat and I fell in love with this sound that I was listening. I said, I wanna do that and I did. :) itll take a budget and permission from the publisher but I have been asked to make a modern trance remix. I dont know man, this is biggie money and I dont like being surrounded by people control artistic freedom. Lets see. Ive sang this song so much I swear I sing it like everyday in my head too. This would be interesting but not in my near future. Somethings are better left as they are...CLASSIC!!!
