Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith... Someone called me about a hound dog that had been hit by a car in sledge, ms a couple of weeks ago. I took him to the vet and he had a broke leg and a fractured pelvis. He had bite marks all over his ears and head. So as my vet stood before me and told me that it would be a 50/50 chance that the surgery would correct his injuries. There was no way to know how much nerve damage had been done. I knew his previous owners(if he ever had any) had let him down and I did not want to do that. Well fast forward 8 days and hank is recovering nicely after his surgery. As I was leaving from my vet yesterday from picking him up he smiled and said you made a good choice good job. I wouldnt have been able to make that choice if it wasnt for all of you that has sent donations ,supplies, and mostly support. Now hank will be on the road to recovery along with mercy Ella this thanksgiving and he thanks you from the bottom of his big ole hound dog heart!!! The first two pictures are when he was first brought to me, he couldnt stand. The rest are from yesterday after he got home.
