Son kills father in Marlborough, police say MARLBOROUGH – Police arrested a Clintondale man on Sunday after he allegedly caused fatal injuries to his father. State Police and Marlborough Police were called to the home of Nicholas Pascarella Sr. for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that Pascarella Sr was confronted by his son, Nicholas Pascarella Jr., in the driveway of the residence. After an altercation, Pascarella Sr. suffered head trauma reportedly after being hit with a baseball bat. He was taken to MidHudson Hospital in Poughkeepsie where died. Nicholas Pascarella Jr., 39 of Clintondale, was arrested for second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
