Song 006: I remember when we got our first CD player. I was in Grade 9 and a guy in my French class wanted to get rid of his. I think we paid 25 or 50 dollars for it, at most. Of course, we didnt have any CDs at the time so I did the economical thing and signed up for Columbia House (is that even still around?). The first disc I chose was Iron Maidens Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son. Fantastic album, and the kind of metal rock I really enjoy. I could probably pick any of the tracks for today, but Ill go with this one as the line theres a time to live, but isnt it strange that as soon as youre born youre dying has always stuck with me. Not angst or emo in its nature, more just an intriguing thought that people probably dont think of.
