Song Review by Jo-Ann Greene [-] Take warning or you may end up mourning, Winston McAnuff threatens in the intro to What Man Sow, a potent number that takes on the gunslingers and flings them at Jahs feet. As with all the singers best songs, the powerful lyrics deeply resonate, and McAnuff forcefully delivers them in his inimitable style - part Waterhouse, part chanting prophet. Theres no brooking the singers words, for as he grandiloquently notes, What a man sow, is what a man reap, you cant plant corn [patois for gunfire], and expect to reap peace. Inner Circle provide both the vocal and musical backing, their hefty, bass driven riddim adding further weight to McAnuffs performance, while their dub counterpart What Man Dubis heavy enough to crush an elephant. Cut at Channel One, this stellar number opened McAnuffs superb. Circle produced, What a Man Deal With album.
