Songs of the day: Hold Me my Jamie Grace & He Knows My Name by Francesca Battistelli Scriptures of the day: Psalms 121:1,2 & Romans 8:26 The pressures that we feel from an opposing person, is not of that particular person....it is the enemy manifesting himself in that person, because he knows that person is one that can best be used by him, to get to you in the worst possible way. The closer we get to God in a personal relationship, the more the enemy hates it and the harder he fights to try to get to you. It almost feels a little like the battle is peaking doesnt it? Ever heard the saying its always darkest just before the dawn? Its true in the spiritual sense as well. The enemy is darkness and Jesus is The Light. The light always over powers the darkness, right? If a room is dark, even a simple little flame from a lighter can help you see....again, its absolutely the same in the spiritual sense. It doesnt matter how dark it is around you, God is right there with you, holding you. God never intended for a battle to defeat you! He even tells us in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgement, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of The Lord, and their righteousness from me, says The Lord. So if it feels a little more personal or closer to home than you would like, just know....your enemy is anxious because your relationship with Jesus is getting stronger! The enemy knows he cannot be defeated by you, because he cant win against God! Thats already been proven! The battle you are facing has already been won at the cross! Your God is a mighty God! Your God is a powerful God! Your God will not let this enemy defeat you! However, the struggle has to present itself to you. Stop thinking its a bad thing....its not. Everything has a season. Theres a time for sorrow and a time for joy. (Ecclesiastes)...God wont give you a battle to face without giving you a reward in the end. He knows that you have come to the end of your season where you are right now. So, He must close this door before He opens the next one. Humbly face your enemy head on, but dont go unarmed. Pray your way thru it and watch the Holy Spirit take over where you thought you were stumbling. The battle is The Lords! If you walk by the guidance of Jesus, You will see His favor at the end. So...shoulders back, head up, eyes to the sky and ask Jesus to guide your footsteps today. Be blessed!
