Soon will upload on my blog page too... Day 5, 6, 7 & 8 In the morning at 7 o’clock, I started from Gwalior, City was quiet congested and lot of people on the road. In another 30mins I was on highway and started towards Agra. Distance between Agra and Gwalior is 120kms. My today’s destination was Panipat. The road condition between Gwalior and Agra is decent. You can speed up but needs to be very careful as you will see animals, bullock carts and people on the road. Its quiet busy stretch, keeps 4 eyes on the road. There is a place called Murena which comes in MP, try avoiding completely riding on that route in the night. In another 2 hrs I was in Agra. I got cold so I was not able to ride comfortably. Had to take frequent breaks. As soon as I reached Agra I was so happy and called my mom as I was so near to my hometown, it’s just 150kms from Agra. I took break for 1hour and literally I was feeling like to leave the expedition here itself and go to my hometown but somehow I controlled my emotions and continue. By now I completed 2578kms in 5 days. Riding in Agra city was quiet hectic, too much people around, cycles, bikes, pedestrians. To get onto Yamuna expressway from Agra is quiet confusing, please check with locals clearly. The other highway which people earlier used to use to reach Delhi from Agra which is also in well maintained condition but lots of traffic can be seen on that NH. After riding 10kms within city and with lots of confusion and detours, I was finally on Yamuna expressway which is one of India most popular highway. Earlier bikes were not allowed but now government allowed bikers. I went onto Yamuna expressway, wide 6 –lane highway excellent condition. I was the only biker on the road apart from that all 4-wheeler mostly BMWs, Audis and all high end segment cars. I observed one serious exceptional thing on that expressway being in India, was, people were following the rules what was written there like “Right lane is used only for Overtaking” and actually people were strictly doing that, it gave me little happiness inside. It was 200kms long stretch. I took break at one of the rest point on expressway. I met few ladies there. They started talking. From where you are coming I said from Kanyakumari all alone they were like what r u serious? And then many people gathered around n then there was a photo session for next 15mins with little kids, uncles, aunties. I had a nice time, enjoyed. Had something and left to Delhi. As soon as I entered into Noida, rain welcomed me as usual In Delhi I was about to meet one rider from xbhp Delhi Prateek Majumadar, who will help escorting me out of Delhi and was suggested BY Mr. Sunil Gupta from Xbhp. I was quiet sleepy on expressway as there was nothing to be attention, not much no of vehicles on the road. I took many brakes in between. And after 2 hrs of riding I reached Noida-Gr.Noida expressway where I was waiting for Prateek. He arrived and escorted me out of Delhi towards Panipat i.e. Karnal highway which is NH1.After riding for 45mins I stopped on a dhaba , had lassi I just love it. By 7 o’clock I was in Panipat where I was received by Saanjh. Next mng I woke up and headed towards Manali. But I could make only till Mandi because of the weather conditions. It was suggested by locals, not to move forward after Mandi if it rains. By 6 I reached Mandi and Yash and Purushotam supported me there in Mandi arranged a press meet there. Next day I reached Manali. In Manali I was hosted by GodWin who runs biker café called “RIDEINN” in Shanag Village, Ideal place to stay for bikers and also very near to the highway which goes to Rohtang La. Aftre seeing the incredible beauty of Manali ,I just couldn’t resist myself being there for one day.In one day rest, I explored some places in Himachal like Hidimba temple and places like that and also met Prashant and Moksha there, took some tips from Prashant and did some shopping for next 2 days. I shopped gum boots, gloves and few essential things though it was little expensive in Manali. To prepare myself for the upcoming challenge which was going to be most tedious, difficult, dangerous and demanding stretch for the entire trip and as fatigue added day by day as I already ridden 3500 in 7 days. It was going to be tougher, as mostly riders start form Leh to Kanyakumari, in that way most difficult part they cross in the starting and rest part of the country is easy for me it was opposite and initially I was suggested by many riders to start from Leh side. I had a beautiful lunch with Moksha, the lady with lots of will power and strength completed Leh-Manali in 20hrs which usually other riders take 3 days. Hats off to her, it was nice spending 3 hrs with her gossiping and having lunch together. I was little nervous for next 2 days as the roads from Manali – Leh is considered as one of the world’s dangerous roads....Hoping for the best. Lets see how it goes..... #NH4 #WickedRide #RIDEINN #SOLOWomanRider #k2kIndia
