Sooner or later, its gonna hurt to a father that wasn’t there. To know that your children made it in spite of what you didnt do. To know that your children are fine, no thanks to you. To know that they know by now that you could’ve done more, but you chose not to. But more than anything, for neither mother nor child to have a bitter bone in their body about the situation because everything turned out just fine, there can be no greater punishment to an absent father sooner or later.
