Sooo a lady called my office trying to get a transcript. After reviewing her account she owed the university $20 for a parking ticket that was from 1992. She explained to me that she had to pay back a loan that she never received and the university released her transcript before with a student receivable write off hold. I informed the lady that the University shouldnt have released the transcript with the hold. She goes on explaining that she supports her HBCU and that something crazy was going on here. I informed the lady on when the ticket was documented. .. The lady proceeded asking how can she make the payment. I informed her that I will pay the $20 so her balance can be cleared with the university and she can retrieve her transcripts. She was speechless.... One Act of Random Kindness!
