Soooo...I helped save a life last night. This stray pup fell in a pool and was trying to swim out for who knows how long. When he found the shallow end, he was too tired and scared to move and was in this position for up to two hours!! He took treats from me, but growled when I tried to help him move...then if I backed away, he cried. I even got in the pool up to my knees to try and coax him out!! Animal Control Officer Maddox saved the day when she got there in the middle of the night by helping him out with a leash. He was so tired he was unsteady on his feet!!! If no one claims him by 10/02, hell be up for adoption from the Chesapeake Animal Control Bureau!! He was so friendly once he was out of the water and given treats for being such a good boy and hanging on!!!
