Soooo glad my bride will be home soon! As I have managed the home (and I use that term very loosely) the last few days without her, one thing has become very clear. As much as I love my kiddos, and as hard as I try to meet their very need, help with homework ( by the way Im going to sue the state of Florida for allowing 4th grade teachers to teach 17th grade math), organize backpacks, feed them, referee arguments,and drive them to the recreational activity of their choosing...Im no mom. There is NO substitution for the heart, love, warmth, tenderness and nurturing of a mom. Im a utilitarian at best, a substitute for the real thing. Im Splenda. Love you Sorcha Blake!!
