Soooo it took a lot to hold the good news in! Ive been crying, praising and rejoicing since I found out at the beginning of the week. For all who KNOW me, know that teaching is my life. To become a teacher has been my dream since I was able to talk. Started off at FMU looking to major in Elementary Education. During that time, found out my niece had cancer. My mom had to move to Columbia to take care of her properly, which forced me to get a job. Unfortunately, you cant have a job in the education program, so I had to switch my major and work. My last semester was the worst! 8 senior level English classes and working 40hours a week 3pm-12am. Through it all, I kept the faith. Had many crying days and nights, BUT GOD never left me! Long story short, I had my first teaching interview on Monday, and got the job the same day! Principal was pleased and impressed! I ended up doing the district interview the same day! Im pleased to announce that Im your NEWLY 8th grade MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER! Walking into my purpose!!! ❤️🎉✂️📓📚📖🎊🍎 God has been amazing! Thats why I chose to stick with him; through any test...its worth it, because he has never FAILED TEKA! 💯👌🙈
