Sooooo...Daisy was in her room and she calls me in there to show me that there is a fire across the street. Its an older barn or something, but is right next to a house. That sucker was burning (flames 15 feet or more high). I said that was not set on purpose... and called dispatch in Troy. I told her I could see the building burning from my back yard. She repeatedly asked me my address. I repeatedly said it is not at my address, but I can see it from my back window. After being asked 3 to 4 times for my address, I finally gave it to her and said the fire was NOT at my address. Thirty minutes later, the building is a smoldering pile of burnt lumber and no fire trucks in sight. BUT my landlady shows up and says she got a call that I called dispatch to say my apartment was on fire. The most disturbing part isnt that the idiot who took the call completely screwed it up, but it is that the fire department is less than a minute from here and no one even showed up to check it out.
