Sooooooo.... my 30th bday is coming up ( Monday actually ) and i need to renew my stupid ID however.... they now require your birth certificate. Which I havnt seen in years! Since I was born abroad ... i somehow have to contact the US Consulate in Stuttgart Germany. Ive called the Army since I was an army brat and my dad was enlisted at my time of birth, plus I also enlisted at 17. No help from them at all. In fact they cant even locate my army file. AAaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! So i learned 2 lessons. 1. NEVER procrastinate opening the mail.. cause I could have learned of the new requirements last month. 2. The army keeps shitty files and the 6 people I spoke with were beyond RUDE. Dammit dammit dammit.... anybody know how to help? I technically dont have a birth certificate. Its called a Consular report of birth abroad. FS-240.
