Sopapilla Cake recipe........made by Sara Reindel and Susan A. Reindel for our Columbia MO meeting last week.......IT IS AWESOME! 2 tube crescent roll dough 2 packages cream cheese, 8 oz 1 cup sugar, white or brown, or equivalent substitute 1 stick butter Cinnamon Layer first tube dough in bottom of Ultra Pro Lasagna pan. Mix cream cheese ( softened ) with the sugar and place on top of crescent dough. Top with other tube of dough. Melt butter and pour over top. Sprinkle with cinnamon or cinnamon/sugar mix. Bake @350 for 25-30 minutes. We left the lid on the pan also. Billie suggested putting on a can of pie filling between the cream cheese layer and top dough layer. Sounds pretty good like that too. Will have to try it next time!
