Sophia asked to go to her friends house on the weekend to work on my biography project. Yah, we all know how that works. So when she actually came home with her project finished - and looking stellar - I was shocked to say the least. Tell me how you did it, I said, the world wants to know. Here it is, how to work on a school project with your friend, by Sophia Cockram: 1. Go to their house, not to yours (they always have better materials). 2. Sprawl out everything you have on the ground. 3. Put on your favourite music. 4. Help each other pick out the colours and theme. 5. Check your rubric! Plan how much space you have for pictures and colours and the designs you want to do. 6. Take turns typing out information on the computer and printing it off. 7. Show each other the pictures you picked out and get advice. 8. Get each other to edit your writing. 9. Border everything with scrapbook paper (get advice about what backgrounds go on what). 10. Once you’ve glued anything on in a specific organized order, then accessorize it with other shapes and scrapbook paper. 11. Show it off to each other and tell each other how much you like it. 12. Do all this while singing along to the songs on your playlist. #doingGrade8right
