Sophie is the ten year old Border Collie mix we rescued last month. She was back at the vet today for more x-rays of the mass in her chest. The initial diagnosis is a lung tumor, which can be surgically removed. Sophie also has a mass on her right shoulder that will need to be evaluated once their CT Scanner is repaired. Due to her sore right shoulder, she has developed a pressure sore from always laying on her left side. The wrap is temporary, she will be stitched up when they put her under for the CT scan. She will go back on Monday for bandage change and we will know how soon she can get in for the CT scan by next week.
