Sorry Greg Thomson but I am not agreeing with this. Though I truly appreciate the fact that BVG has worked so hard to save the game, and I am not one that was ever banned, I know personally people who were banned on that horrible day last year when TBYH wrecked havoc on our community and game. Players were terrified to go in, but those that were in game or didnt realize the danger suffered grave consequences. Facebook was flooded with reports of players seeing hackers on the edges of their screens, pop ups with pics being altered from the normal YV pics, and then they would be bumped from game only to find when trying to refresh their account was banned, instantly. How? The forums were full of confused, terrified and outraged fans, asking WHY? I did nothing wrong, they were assured by Ninjas, that Zynga would take care of them. They were told wrong. No one was unbanned. No one was given back their accounts. Players lost whatever they had accumulated. Whether they had played a month or since 2008, it was all gone in a moments time. Because they had done something? No. Because on THAT day, TBYH won. Players emailed, messaged, those with chat access contacted support. Most were at first told we will help you. But help never came. Ninjas posted in the forum Do not panic, support is looking at everything your accounts are fine. But no, they were not fine. They were never fine again. Of all the people I know who were banned on that horrible tragic time last year, I have known of not one single person unbanned when BVG did the review. An unfair act, one I hate to even type because I have such love and hope in BVG already. Is it not possible, that when TBYH script kiddies as you all call them, did their dirty work that day, they put something on these players accounts that made it appear that the players were actually breaking TOS when in fact it was the TBYH who were harming the account? I know of players who have screen shots of everything they saw going into game, the horrible pictures of dildos instead of gifts. If they were capable of that, meaning TBYH, couldnt they have been capable of attaching something to the account or momentarily hacking it by which to cause the ban? Shouldnt BVG look more closely at these accounts, and those that can show they were banned at the exact time that TBYH were in game hacking, and show the forum posts, emails from support they received, etc, be unbanned and watched like BVG describes here? I have friends who lost accounts they had for years, and it is terribly unfair. Ask yourself this, how would YOU have felt if you had went into game to simply give a gift to a friend, just give someone something at their apartment, using their apartment link, and was booted out of game and when you tried to get back in your account was GONE, banned. That happened to someone I love and cherish. I feel BVG needs to look far more closely at this, in fairness to all. Thank you for all you are doing, and will do, for our beloved game.
