Sorry, I didnt get Moms update until now but... Doctor said she will be in the cervical collar for 3 months, but expected the break to heal without any further treatment . He is going to repeat the CT in 4 weeks just as a precaution to make sure the break is healing, and that there is no underlying hemorrhage.( none expected). As far as the confusion and short term memory loss she is experiencing , he thinks this is from the head trauma, and swelling. He is confident this too will heal and subside in time. Thanks for all the concern, and prayers..we all appreciate them.
