Sorry, couldnt find insect page and am very concerned with what kind of beetle this is. I found it in my bag of watercress and need to know if its native then I can let it go and if it invasive and destructive I have to put it in the freezer. Its hard to tell from this pic, but it is about a inch or more long, has at least 6 lengthwise rows of white-ish dots on its back, on the very edge of its body almost underneath is the iridescent green common on beetles. The watercress was from b&w gourmet farms, it says they are distributed from Fellsmar, Florida but that doesnt mean that is where he came from. I am in Central Florida. I could send the image to a website but I want to know asap because I am keeping him in my fridge. I assume the watercress is still ok to eat
