Sorry for interrupting the wonderful advertisements of the upcoming interact events! But I have to intervene because I NEED to express my love for my family. Area 10 has astounded me so incredibly much this entire year, and especially this past Saturday. We truly took the phrase Stronger Together and freaking ran marathons with it. We traversed so many obstacles for this Charity Dinner, and all the 9 High School Interact Clubs came together. We may not be the biggest area, nor the strongest, but our passion and dedication for service shines brighter than anywhere in the world. I cant express the love for the hardworking team of interactors who put this event on, this night will be one I NEVER forget, we made history in D5170. And it was all because of you. This Charity Dinner is so empowering because such a seemingly small group of individuals took little steps together, yet with those small steps, they led to big leaps. This was our third annual dinner, and like Nick Leon says we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. And it was because of the success of our predecessors that allowed us to have the most successful dinner in our area EVER. I also have to give a big shoutout to the interactors and rotarians who came so far for this event. It personally meant the absolute world to me that you came to support A10, and myself. I still am a little emotional because of the amazing support. Although you may not be aware of this, you were all noticed at our dinner. You were foreigners and outsiders at the event. People took notice, and were actually inspired. You set the example of what it means to be a true Rotarian, and a true interactor. To put service above self, and do whatever it takes to support your Interact family. The locals are still talking about you, and are always blown away. You guys continue to astound me, and I always end up in complete awe.
