Sorry for the delay of the review from Friday. Tyler and I went to go see If I Stay. This movie is based off of a book written by Gayle Forman. Since so many movies that are based off of books are vastly different I wanted to take the time and finished reading the first book and the second book. The movie ultimately is great. Definitely as good as a Nicholas Sparks movie. You will laugh, cry, and overall fall in love with the story. If you have read the book you will wont be to disappointed in the movie not being like the book because its almost exactly like the book. I will say that the changes the made in the movie that wasnt in the book or didnt happen that way in the book happens for the right reason. Gayle wrote If I Stay and a squeal called Where She Went. In this movie they combined the two. So dont get excited for a squeal to this because I doubt its going to happen because of the changes they made in the movie.
