Sorry, here are a couple of genocides committed by Canada as a government or by Canadian Taxpayers? Canada was a country through the BNA Act of 1867 which is now called the Constitution Acts of 1867 and 1982. In 1867, Canada and Great Britain removed Indians from the "Citizen Section" provided for in section 92 and removed them to section 91 which removed their ability to vote and to get services from provinces, municipalities and the federal government. That is why the Department of Indian Affairs was created, to replace the services provided by the Canadian system of governing its "Citizens"! You have heard of the TRUST RELATIONSHIP between Canada/Great Britain and Indians or Indigenous people of Canada, this is what is discussed and where it was created. So, there was a legal and Constitutional Trust created and in existence in 1867, which was operational in 1868, 1869, 1870 and 1871! 1871 is only 4 years since Canada accepted the TRUST. Now follow the events: Canada ignored the ownership of the lands known as Rupertsland and the North West Territories. By ignoring Indian ownership it is violating the Royal Proclamation of 1763. It is violating the assets of Indians that had sustained them economically and socially for time immemorial. Canada and Great Britain decided to give ownership of the land to the HBC which was owned by the British Royal family. Canada persuaded the CPR to buy the shares from the Royals for £300,000 which it did through "insider trading", the Prime Minister was working for the CPR and ignoring section 91(24) and his role "to protect Indians and the lands of Indians" of less than two years. Now, the CPR owned HBC then sold the lands, millions of square miles, to Canada for "£300,000", 20% of the millions of square miles, commercial lands reserves as settlement proceeded westward, lands upon which its stores, trading posts and forts were located and denied to Indian Chiefs that "their lands had been sold by the HBC and wanted to know why because they did not want to sell their lands" (Again, I direct breach of trust by Canada/Taxpayers and a direct lie to the beneficiaries of the TRUST) of less than 4 years! The deal was completed in 1868 but not announced until 1870 and it was all contained in the British legislation known as the Rupertsland Act of 1870 which is really a land transaction document turned into legislation. Remember the Prime Minister was John A. MacDonald employed by the CPR! One year later, Canada began to negotiate the Treaties with Indians for lands which they already gave to the CPR through the HBC. They "NEGOTIATED" with the "BENEFICIARY OF THE TRUST CREATED BY CANADA AND GREAT BRITAIN". How could the Trustee negotiate against the beneficiary of the Trust created by the Constitution? So, Canada was in a "conflict of interest" with its TRUST and this is obvious in the negotiations, Canada had previous knowledge that the lands had already been sold and therefore the Indians had no lands because the TRUSTEE took the lands from a party it gave the lands to (CPR owned HBC). Canada withheld information from Indians and it did not provide Indians with legal, economic and advisors to insure the social and economic sustainability of the Indians through the Treaties. Read the Rupertsland Act on Youtube or Google it and you will see the battery of lawyers involved in its negotiations, yet not even an interpreter or some sophisticated and resourceful advisor was provided by Canada and which it was Constitutionally obligated to provide. Treaty Number One was signed in Lower Fort Gary in 1871, four years after Confederation! Is this not genocide of majestic proportions?
