Sorry it has been so long since I posted! School starting with a move to 6th grade from 3rd, high school ballgames, junior high ballgames, rec. ballgames, cheer competitions, my kids, my students, my athletes, my house is a disaster... Well you all know the drill because you face crazy, hectic schedules in your own lives. I kept up with my workouts pretty well in the beginning with 3-5 days a week. Then homecoming week hit. :( No workouts that week at all. Then Halloween week hit. No workouts that week again. Then what I feared happened...I LOST weight. Now that may sound like a good thing but it is not. I am still eating the same and I am not working out consistently so only one reason. I am losing muscle. :( This happens every year. But this year will be different. I have a workout partner to keep me motivated and on target. Mykayla Krentz loves PIYO and as I was lunging, squatting, and wanting to lay down on the floor in my pool of sweat she was saying, Remember Mom you want your butt to look good. I resisted the urge to throw things at her and got back to work. By the way, you know a workout is good when you feel like regular squats are a break. ;-) With her help, I hope to maintain my current muscle tone and strength throughout the holidays. Let me know your strategies for making it through the holidays.
