** Sorry this is the longest post Ive ever done but I think its worth the time... So as much as I complain about my job, I truly love it, and find it rewarding in a way that some may not understand even I dont sometimes... With that being said, get a snack, a drink and go pee cuz here we go, I had an extremely awesome pay it forward moment today.. My cashier and I were frantically slinging dollar items as fast as we could, we had extremely long lines, there was a lady in my line who bought one item, of course as it always seems to happen when things are moving at warp speed she cannot find her money and has held up the line for quite a few minutes now trying to find the money in her pockets with no success, she asked if I could hold the item so she could look for her money outside, I said yes, And just continue to move through the line. She came back in and asked me if I had found her dollar I said no and she said okay then and started to walk away. I told her that she could have the item and not to worry about it that I would cover it, she thank me and walked out... A gentleman that had been patiently waiting behind her, and had since been rung up was standing off to the sIde, said here you go and handed me a dollar, so all I had to do is cover .06.. I thought that was pretty cool of him considering Others were annoyed and didnt take the time to look at the big picture they were only focused on themselves. .
