SoulPancake Whats one thing that I know for sure? Life is too short and too amazing to be truly experienced in just one lifetime. Im not even going to get mired down in all of the arguments of faith and spirituality, here. I just want you to think about...consider all of the many experiences that youve gone through in your lifetime. A first kiss full of innocence, a savage lie that hurt someone more than you expected, that moment of uncertain fear in the first moments of that car accident, the late night phone call that woke you at 3am about someone you love, the guilt that you have continued to feel for so many years over some long past action, etc. What about all of those feelings that youve never been able to experience due to circumstance? Have you been so attractive as to have anyone that you want? Have you been so ugly as to live with that certainty that you will die alone? Have you ever desired an education so greatly, that youve walked miles before dawn, through fields that have hopefully been cleared of land mines leftover from the previous regime? Have you ever stolen out of hunger? Have you ever stolen out of greed? Have you ever battled a life-changing disease? Do you know what it is like to take for granted living your life in good health? I do not mean to trivialize your individual experiences or feelings...but no matter what any of us have gone through, there is no possible way to experience everything that this world has to offer in a single lifetime. -and in my believing that, I believe that we will continue to reincarnate in some way over and over again, until we have learned and experienced everything that life has to offer. The good, the bad, and the ugly...so to speak. Sometimes you have to experience an event or moment -multiple times to actually learn from it. How many lifetimes would it take certain people to learn humility, patience, to sacrifice for love or for country or for a stranger passing by? You meet people every day, that seem older and wiser beyond their years...or that seem shallow and immature within their soul. So, take nothing for granted. Make every experience count. Cherish not only your life, but every life around you. Sooner or later, well share their experiences, as well. The people worked together, and they lifted many stones. They carried them to the flatlands, and they died along the way. They built up with their bare hands, what we still cant build, today._Neil Young
