Soup Kitchen Update 19 January 2015 Date: Mon, Jan 19, 2015 10:09 pm Martin Luther King Holiday and it was celebrated in style at the only place that had a celebration in Springfield maybe even the entire State of Ohio........... Over 325 people ate tons of hot dogs and hamburgers and Praised the Lord...... Thank You Lord for the Springfield Soup Kitchen... Springfield Soup Kitchen believes in freedom and liberty for all and is the freest place in this country......... Tonight could not have been done without a rich blessing of 36 volunteers..... On the Rise volunteers both girls and boys led by Miss Deb and then the Student Nurses from Clark State Community College and the Key Club from Springfield High School along with all the wonderful core volunteers... Our Lady of a Beautiful Place pray that all receive the blessings from Our Lord and Savior volunteers and guests alike........... Biggest problem of the night was mentally challenged man we had to eject because of bed bugs.. This was not the case of insinuation that he had bed bugs which he denied but rather what was seen were the size of rolley polleys crawling all over his clothes.... Sorry state of affairs but we cannot let one person contaminate the Kitchen..... Something must be done with the Land Lords who let this exist in this City......... Soup Kitchen Guy Thanks and Praises the Lord for our mild weather...... Thank You Jesus....... Jesus let us make it through this Winter until we find a solution for those that continue to suffer without shelter in this cold weather.............
