South Bend’s minor league baseball team set an all-time attendance record this year. Now the goal is to double that. “We brought in over a quarter of a million people this year, which was a record year for the franchise, I’m shooting for 500,000, but in order to achieve 500,000, we’d have to add seats,” said franchise owner Andrew Berlin. “In the Midwest League, the Dayton Dragons and the Cane County Cougars are one and two in attendance, and I am not satisfied being anything but number one.”
